Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
- Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
- What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
- Is approval required from my primary care physician?
Currently I am accepting Blue Cross Blue Shield, Harvard Pilgrim, United Healthcare, Mass General Brigham (formerly Allways), Optum (HMO/PPO only, no public or mass health versions), and Tufts Optum (HMO/PPO only, no public or mass health versions) as an in-network provider.
I am accepting some other insurances Out of Network. Check with your insurance company first to make sure you have Out of Network benefits. I also accept self-paying clients, who do not want to use their insurance.
Rates:
Initial evaluation is $150 for a 60 minute session. After this session, the rate is $75 per 30 minute session, $120 per 45 minute session or $150 per 60 minute session. For any other service, that may not be covered by insurance, (e.g. school advocacy) my rate is $100 per hour including travel time.
Reduced Fee:
Reduced fee services are available on a case by case basis.
Payment:
Payment or Co-Payment is due at the time of service.
Payments are accepted in the form of cash, check, credit, debit cards, HSA or FSA cards.
Credit and debit cards accepted: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
Cancellation Policy:
An appointment cancelled within 2 hours of the scheduled appointment will be charged a $40 cancellation fee. A no call, no show will be charged a $60 cancellation fee.
Your insurance will not cover these fees. Exceptions will be made in emergency circumstances.
